S.A.M.S - "Share A Meal Service" Food Pantry
S.A.M.S Pantry, located at St. John’s Episcopal Church, became operational on October 1, 1984 and is actively involved in a ministry of community outreach.
The pantry is open Monday – Thursday from 1 pm to 3 pm and Friday from 10 am to 11 am. The pantry is very fortunate to have 40-50 dedicated volunteers, not only from St. John’s Episcopal Church but other churches as well.
Another ministry in addition to the “regular” pantry is the “morning” pantry which serves several clients who need extra help with food items once per month from October to May. The special morning clients are referred to S.A.M.S by the Department of Human Services.
